Greenwood Country Club is an exceptional venue providing its members with the challenge of a meticulously maintained golf course, 10 lighted tennis courts with one of the areas most active tennis programs matched with an array of club facilities rivaling the finest in Greenwood County. 

The clubhouse offers a wide variety of food service options, from exquisite chef's creations in the Dining Room, to more casual fare in the Grill Room and Outdoor Patio.  Our magnificent seasonal swimming pool, as well as numerous social events scheduled on the club property, provide Greenwood Country Club members with excellent opportunities to make new friends and create lifetime relationships.

This club offers three nine hole courses that can be played in three different eighteen hole combinations.  The Lake/Cedar combination is generally played as one eighteen hole course and the Lodge Course is generally played by juniors and seniors.  The last four finishing holes on the Cedar and Lake Courses play the toughest when the courses are played in combination.  During tournaments, all three courses are used for play.

Description:

Greenwood Country Club, founded as a golf club in 1929, is one of the oldest private clubs in the country. The club offers various sporting and social activities. The club has one of the finest 27-hole golf courses in the state. A driving range and putting greens are available for your use. PGA golf professionals are available for private lessons and clinics are offered for all ages and abilities. The golf pro shop, located in the lower level of the clubhouse, is always stocked with the latest golf equipment and clothing.

Our clubhouse has a main dining room, two executive dining rooms, a garden room, and a casual dining room. The different rooms serve your needs from small private business lunch, to an informal lunch in the grill, to a grand party. Our dining room opens onto a wrap around veranda overlooking our beautiful driving range and golf courses. The main bar is located next to the main dining room, and the men's bar is located in the men's locker room.

You will discover 5 clay courts and 5 hard courts all lighted - at GCC. The tennis shop has spacious locker rooms for men and women, as well as a large array of tennis merchandise. We have one of the most active and successful tennis programs in the state, directed by full-time professionals. Whatever your level, our tennis program will have something to offer.

Your family can enjoy the summer weather by dipping in our large pool or smaller pool for young children. We offer a well rounded swimming program featuring teen nights, family swim nights and cookouts. We will be happy to plan a private party to include food and beverages for our members' special functions.
